Welcome to Safe Hands Autism Care (“Safe Hands,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, platform, and related services (collectively, the “Platform”).
By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
1. Platform Overview
Safe Hands Autism Care is a referral-based online platform designed to connect parents or guardians seeking caregiving support with independent caregivers.
Safe Hands Autism Care:

Does not employ caregivers

Does not provide direct caregiving services

Does not supervise, manage, or control caregivers

Is not a party to any agreement between parents and caregivers
All caregiving arrangements are entered into directly between parents and caregivers.
2. Eligibility
To use the Platform, you must:

Be at least 18 years old

Provide accurate and complete information

Have the legal capacity to enter into agreements
By using the Platform, you represent that you meet these requirements.
3. Account Registration and Authentication
Users may be required to create an account to access certain features.
You may register using:

Email and password

Third-party authentication services such as Google OAuth
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
4. User Roles
The Platform supports multiple user roles, including:

Parents or guardians seeking caregivers

Independent caregivers offering services
Each role may have access to different features and content based on subscriptions or account status.
5. Subscriptions and Payments
All purchases made through Safe Hands Autism Care are final.
We do not offer refunds if a customer is dissatisfied with a caregiver they have selected.
Safe Hands Autism Care operates solely as a referral platform. Our role is to connect parents and guardians with independent caregivers. Any fees paid through the platform are for access to and use of the referral service only.
Safe Hands Autism Care does not provide direct caregiving services and is not responsible for the ongoing services, performance, conduct, scheduling, or payment arrangements between families and caregivers.
All service agreements, expectations, compensation, and terms of care are established directly between the caregiver and the family.
6. Caregiver Listings and Parent Access
Caregiver profiles are provided for informational purposes only.
Safe Hands Autism Care:

Does not guarantee caregiver availability, suitability, or performance

Does not verify all information independently unless explicitly stated

Does not conduct background checks unless offered as a separate service
Parents are solely responsible for evaluating caregivers and making hiring decisions.
7. Independent Contractor Relationship
Caregivers listed on the Platform are independent contractors and are not employees, agents, or representatives of Safe Hands Autism Care.
Nothing in these Terms creates:

An employment relationship

A partnership or joint venture

An agency relationship
8. User Responsibilities
You agree to:

Provide truthful and accurate information

Use the Platform for lawful purposes only

Respect the rights and safety of others

Not misuse or attempt to circumvent Platform restrictions

Not post false, misleading, or harmful content
9. Prohibited Conduct
You may not:

Misrepresent your identity or qualifications

Use the Platform to harass, abuse, or harm others

Upload malicious software or harmful content

Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems

Use the Platform for illegal or fraudulent purposes
10. Third-Party Services
The Platform may integrate third-party services, including:

Google OAuth for authentication

Payment processors

Hosting and analytics providers
Use of these services is subject to their respective terms and policies. Safe Hands Autism Care is not responsible for third-party services.
11. Intellectual Property
All content on the Platform, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of Safe Hands Autism Care or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute content without prior written permission.
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
Safe Hands Autism Care makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding:

The accuracy of caregiver profiles

The quality of caregiving services

Platform availability or performance
13. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Safe Hands Autism Care shall not be liable for:

Any damages arising from caregiver-parent interactions

Any personal injury, loss, or property damage

Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Use of the Platform is at your own risk.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Safe Hands Autism Care from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of:

Your use of the Platform

Your interactions with other users

Your violation of these Terms
15. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts at our discretion, including for violations of these Terms or misuse of the Platform.
You may stop using the Platform at any time.
16. Modifications to the Platform or Terms
We may modify or discontinue features of the Platform at any time.
We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
17. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
18. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Platform shall be resolved in the courts located within the State of Texas, unless otherwise required by law.
19. Role-Specific Terms
Additional terms may apply to Parents and Caregivers and are presented during registration or onboarding. These role-specific terms are incorporated by reference into these Terms.
